Degree Projects

During my three years at the Arts University Bournemouth, I studied FdA Visual Communication for two years which gave me the opportunity to explore graphic design and illustration, before finally developing my strongest skills during the final year studying BA(Hons) Graphic Design.

My second year project focused on creating a book for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease to store their memories before the full onset of the disease. I have since developed this project further into a book for my grandmother who has recently been diagnosed with the condition.

For my third year project I created a visual accompaniment to the novella ‘Of Mice and Men’ by John Steinbeck, aimed at students studying the book at GCSE level. The aim was to create a guide that would help young minds to visualise the story, memorise areas of importance and recite key quotes in preparation for exams.
